It has finally come to an end. The two best days of an IJCLer have come and gone; but, they were fabulous! Many of our members placed and won ribbons. Justinian Erdmier, IJCL Parliamentarian, executed the 2017 campaign for state offices. Mr. Palmer, Riley Palmer's father, gained a valuable experience. If the NJCL National Convention experience had to be summed up in a few words, those words would be “State Convention on steroids.” This convention is six days of pure excitement with your delegation and other JCL’ers just as passionate about Latin as you. You get to compete in friendly competition with classics students from across the nation. The Indiana Junior Classical League delegation stops at all sorts of fun places along the way from amusement parks to malls and even cranberry farms! National Convention is a truly amazing experience, and you are sure to develop friendships that, like the classics, can weather the ages. The National Convention will be held in Alabama this year at Troy University.
Salvete omnes! It's that time of the year again where we head up to Bloomington and show the rest of the state how cool we are! If you have never been to a state convention, you might be anxious and curious as to what it's like. Wisconsin just had their state convention and they published an amazing video that gives the watcher an idea as to what our convention will be like! Join IJCL delegates form around the state to kick of the 2016-2017 IJCL year at Fall Latin Day! Fall Latin Day will be located at Butler University this year. Join us for activities, contests, and presentations from various Butler faculty!
